About Me

As Willie Wonka once said, “We have so much time, and so little to do!…Strike that, reverse it.” It is rarely the case that we find ourselves with too much time on our hands. I for one know what it’s like to wish that there were more than 24 hours in a day.

I thrive on a life packed with activities; an empty schedule is something I’ve never experienced. I graduated Summa Cum Laude with a B.S. in Business Management while juggling a part time job, competitive dancing, and 18 credits a semester. I now work full time at a small, high-tech startup, which means I get to “wear many hats.” I am the tech writer, the Internet Marketing Strategist, and the Webmaster of 3 corporate websites, and the list goes on. At night, I am pursuing my MBA, and in between the two I manage to squeeze in travel, training for a sprint triathlon, devoting quality time to my relationship, and visiting with friends and family.

What’s my secret? Allow me to introduce you to my best friend, the To Do List. You’ve probably met, but for me, there is no better way to tame the tasks swimming around in my head than putting them all down on paper, prioritizing the list, and conquering it one item at a time. I get great satisfaction from checking each task off with the thickest Sharpie I can find.

I have found methods for organizing my life and using my time productively, and my goal is to help you do the same. I want you to find the tools and strategies that will simplify your busy schedule, reduce overwhelming stress and chaos, and make time for the things in life you really enjoy. When you can find balance between the things you have to do and the things you want to do, you realize that life can be much more than the things on your To Do list.

To a happy, healthy, productive life!

I’m very curious to see your Emergenetics 😉 I already figured you out but it’s not hurting to see it.

  2. I’m with you on this. I wouldn’t survive very long without my trusty friend, the “To Do List.” I use one at work and another one at home. I try to make the list the day before so I can plan for the following day.
    Good luck with your MBA.

    • I’m glad you agree! Doesn’t it feel so good to cross things off that list? Hopefully by next May, the MBA will be something I can cross off mine 🙂 Thanks for checking out my site! -Michelle
